Prayer to the Holy Spirit
Breathe in me O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.
Act in me O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy.
Strengthen me O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy.
Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen.

Prayer for St Augustine’s Feastday
O God, Who by the preaching and miracles of
Blessed Augustine, Your Confessor and Bishop,
you shed upon the English people
the light of the true faith;
grant that, through his intercession,
the hearts of those that have gone astray
may return to the unity of Your truth,
and that we may be of one mind in doing Your will.
I ask this, through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son,
who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one world without end. Amen.
