Background: St Joseph was the Blessed Virgin Mary’s husband and Foster Father to Jesus. He was a carpenter and lived with his family in the Nazareth region of Israel. Joseph moved to Egypt to avoid Herod’s persecution during Jesus’ early life. As a caring parent, he established a safe home for his wife and Jesus. St Joseph is the Patron Saint of workers. His Feast Day is 19th March.
O Glorious St. Joseph, listen to my prayer. With Jesus and Mary, you are my protector, my confidence and my hope You are the most hidden, yet you have served God with great purity and fervour.
In union with all those devoted to you, I dedicate myself to your service. I love and obey you as a son to a father. O powerful advocate of all Christians intercede for me now, I implore.

O Great Saint, present me to the adorable Trinity. I beg that my Divine Redeemer will enkindle in my heart and in all hearts, the fire of His love, and the virtues of His adorable infancy, purity, simplicity, obedience, and humility.
O St Joseph, obtain for me a lively devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, to protect me in life and in death, so that I may have the happiness of dying as you did, in the friendship of my Creator, and under the immediate protection of the Mother of God. Amen.
