Background: St Thérèse was a Carmelite nun who, “Wanted to be unknown”. She believed that it wasn’t necessary to do heroic and great deeds to be holy. She said: “Love proves itself by deeds, so how am I to show my love? Great deeds are forbidden me. The only way I can prove my love is by scattering flowers and these flowers are every little sacrifice, every glance and word, and the doing of the least actions for love”. Her Feast Day is 1st October.
O Little Thérèse, I recall your promise, “To do good upon earth,” and shower down your, “Roses” on those who invoke you.
Please pick for me a rose from the heavenly gardens and send it to me as a message of love.
O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant me the favours I now place, with confidence, in your hands:

St. Thérèse, pray that I may live my life in union with God’s plan for me, so one day I will see the Face of God whom you loved so deeply.
