Jesus said to his disciples, “Won’t God give justice to his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he delay long to help them? I tell you, he will give them justice speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” (Luke 18:7-8)
Thought
Do you sometimes feel tired and weary? Perhaps, you have also occasionally felt no one listens to you or your prayers!
Of course, your burden may have already been halved with Jesus’ help; there is no immediate way of knowing – just your faith.
Reflection
Lord Jesus, thank You for my gift of faith, your love and your mercy. Guide me in my words and actions today so, others will be drawn to You.
Prayer: The Lord is My Shepherd
The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in pastures green,
He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and kindness will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen.
