Jesus said to Nicodemus, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him”. (John 3:17)
Thought
When I think of Nicodemus struggling with his conscious, I often wonder, why are there so many among us, like Nicodemus, slow to accept Jesus’ invite! Why do we wait?
We are all invited to dwell in God’s home and as Jesus once told us, “There are many places in my Father’s house”.
Reflection
Lord Jesus, I surrender myself entirely to you, receive my soul.
Prayer: Poor – Daily Service
Make us worthy, Lord,
to serve our brothers and sisters throughout the world,
who live and die in poverty and hunger.
Give them, through our hands,
this day their daily bread,
and by our understanding love,
give them peace and joy.
Make us, Lord,
worthy to serve our brothers and sisters,
scattered all over the world,
who live and die alone and poor.
Give them today, using our hands, their daily bread.
And, using our love, give them peace and happiness. Amen.
