Jesus described true faith and true love saying, “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money”. (Matthew 6:24)

Pope Benedict once invited a crowd of young people to “Not be afraid to follow Jesus and to walk the demanding and courageous paths of charity and generous commitment”.
Reflection
Lord Jesus, may I see only You today, one God and one love, as I travel the journey that I have chosen – your plan for me.

Lord, help me to live this day, quietly, easily;
to lean on your great strength, trustfully, respectfully;
to wait for the unfolding of your will, patiently, serenely;
to meet others, peacefully, joyfully;
