Jesus said, “Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them is like a wise man who built his house on rock”. (Matthew 7:24)
Thought
Hearing and doing are very different!
Jesus also said, “He who hears… and does not do… is like a foolish man who built his house on sand!”
Would I rate my prayer life, family relations, example to others, honesty and integrity at work or other qualities, as on solid ground?
Reflection
Lord Jesus, help me to build my life and daily work around your ways and create a solid loving lifestyle. May I not only do what is right and pleasing to you but be a shining example to my family, friends and community.

Our Dear Redeemer,
relying on your promises,
because you are faithful, all-powerful and merciful,
we hope, through the merits of your Passion,
for the forgiveness of our sins,
perseverance until death in your grace;
and at length, we hope, by your mercy,
