Extract
A distressed woman approached Jesus and begged for his mercy; she wanted her demon-possessed daughter healed.
The disciples asked Jesus to send the pitiful woman away because “She keeps on crying out after us”.
Jesus responded to her cries saying, “Woman, your faith is great! Let what you want be done for you”. At that moment, her daughter was healed. (Matthew 15:23,28)

Help me Lord, to realise that life is not about me and my needs but about how your love can shine through me to others.
Reflection
Lord Jesus, show me how to spread your precious gift of mercy and your Gospel invitation to all whom I meet today.

Our Dear Redeemer,
relying on your promises,
because you are faithful, all-powerful and merciful,
we hope, through the merits of your Passion,
for the forgiveness of our sins,
perseverance until death in your grace;
and at length we hope, by your mercy,
to see and love you eternally in heaven.
