Eternal rest grant to them, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace. Amen.
May their souls,
and the souls of all the faithfully departed,
rest in peace. Amen.
Or
O God, the creator and redeemer of all the faithful,
grant to the souls of Thy servants departed,
the remission of all their sins.
That through our pious supplication,
they may obtain the pardon they have always desired.
This we ask through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
Or
Lord, welcome into your calm and peaceful kingdom,
those who have departed out of this present life to be with you.
Grant them rest and a place with the spirits of the just;
and give them the life that shows no age,
the reward that passes not away,
